About Us

One Stop Salon was made possible by sisters, Kim and Amy, and their 20 years savings. They came to America as Vietnamese refugees and worked at various jobs without the advantage of language or resources. They came with nothing. Through hard work and determination, they acquired their first homes, sent four children to college, and put away savings. In 2011, they invested in a foreclosed property on the West Side of Chicago that was transformed into One Stop Salon.
We were built on the integrity and selflessness that we learned from our two mothers, Kim and Amy. They are the epitome of hard work and integrity. We want to share our talents to help others feel beautiful. It is a laid-back atmosphere here; walk in and be a part of the family!  A diamond in the rough is the best way to describe us! We are a NO FRILLS salon, nestled in Humbolt Park residential area. We are known as the favorite go-to spot for permanent makeup, eyelash extensions, urban hair and nails care without the pretentiousness. We take pride in our team’s combined talents and techniques. Our confidence comes from over 20 plus years of experience can bring. Walk-in are welcome; appointments are recommended.
